“Straight Outta Love” is the creation of published author Joyce Midley-Quainoo, a dedicated wife, broadcast journalist, and media consultant originally from Ghana who founded the Joy in Giving Foundation, a nonprofit Christian organization that takes care of the basic and infrastructural needs of orphans and needy children in Africa.
In her first-ever published book, Joyce shares, “A relationship knit together out of love that holds forever into eternity.” She writes that God wants a relationship with you, not a business transaction where you pay Him to deliver things to you. She explains with biblical verses why you must be motivated by the love of God to do all things as required in 1 Corinthians 16:14 (AMP).
Joyce presents a heartfelt message in hopes of empowering others in their faith walk at a time when the world is still healing from the devastating effects of #Covid19, the pain of losing #QueenElizabeth of the United Kingdom, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and all the negative reports about the economies of nations across the world.
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Joyce Midley-Quainoo’s new book will help nurture a connection with God by carefully explaining the truest love. A Press Release from Christian Faith Publishing described “Straight Outta Love” as “an impactful message of God’s love that will encourage and inform.”
Consumers can purchase “Straight Outta Love” online at Amazon.com, Apple iTunes store, or Barnes and Noble.
Patrick Quainoo Global Ministries, PQGM, has presented a mix of reading and coloring books to children at the Volta Home Orphanage in Ghana, West Africa.
This is to encourage good reading habits in the children. Other items donated to the orphanage included toiletries and hand sanitizers.
The gesture falls under the ministry’s Love Mission initiative, which cares for widows, orphans, and disaster victims worldwide. Below are some pictures.
The occasion also marked the joint birthday celebration of Pastor Patrick and Joyce Quainoo. The delegation from PQGM treated the children to food and soft drinks and prayed for them.
Patrick Quainoo Global Ministries, PQGM, has hosted a special Mother’s Day lunch party for more than one hundred widows in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
The event was held in Kumasi, the Ashanti Regional capital. It falls under PQGM’s mission of offering hope through the love, comfort, and grace of Jesus Christ to women who have lost their spouses.
The widows came from different towns and villages and had plenty to eat and drink, accompanied by music for dancing.
A representative of PQGM, Pastor Richard Atuobi, encouraged the widows and thanked the Blessing Foundation for organizing the event successfully.

“…… for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”-Acts 4:12
(LISTEN TO AUDIO VERSION )
Salvation which is eternal life, or everlasting life comes from believing in Jesus Christ alone. Acts 4:12 confirms Jesus is the true certified author of our salvation. There is no alternative, including the law of Moses -Romans 8:3. The whole plan of God for salvation unto man hinges on the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. Yes! Jesus’ sacrifice for the world is far greater than anything you can imagine. All that God expects from us is faith in the atoning work of Jesus Christ. Your salvation is, therefore, an acceptance of what Christ has done, not an effort to get Christ to respond to you. Praise God!
You must understand your status in Christ as a believer to enjoy your freedom in Him. When you know and understand the value of salvation, you cease being manipulated.
Before the cross
Separation from God by sin was the status of man before Jesus went to the cross- Romans 3:23. And while we were dead in our sins, God loved us, made us alive with Christ, forgave us all our sins, and also reconciled us to Himself -Colossians 2:13-14, Romans 5:8. Bible says God did all that for us when we were still sinners and ungodly people not when we were righteous people-Romans 5:6. In fact, God made peace with His enemies not friends -Romans 5:10. All these were made possible through the one-time, for -all-time, sacrifice of Jesus Christ- Hebrews 10:12.
Eternal life, Righteousness & more
Our sins are forgiven—praise God! But salvation must not be reduced to only forgiveness of sins. It should not be merely equated with a legal acquittal. To be acquitted is great news, but salvation is more than just a judge acquitting a defendant. That is what God did for us, plus more.
Salvation must also not be seen as fire insurance meant to keep us out of hell. The whole aim of salvation was not just to set us free from the penalty of sin so we can escape hell and go to heaven. It is far bigger than that. Let me explain this.
The eternal life assurance of our salvation-1 John 5:13, John 5:24 means God would have still allowed Jesus Christ to die for us so we can enjoy a relationship or fellowship with God. This is because eternal life is a personal relationship with God by getting to know Him and Jesus Christ according to John 17:3. The use of “Know” in this verse is not just “knowledge of God” or knowing some facts about God but “having an intimate and personal relationship” with God. In Philippians 3:8, Apostle Paul describes the opportunity of knowing Christ as a “priceless privilege and supreme advantage”.
Eternal life is why Jesus said to Martha, the sister of Lazarus, in John 11:25, “The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;”. Eternal life is instant when you believe and continues after death. You don’t get it only after death. Otherwise, the Bible would not have used the present tense of the verb “Have” when it said “that anyone who believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life”-John 3:16 (emphasis mine).
For our relationship with God to be possible, God must first make peace with man. Verse 19 of 2 Corinthians chapter 5 says, “In Christ, God was reconciling the world to Himself not counting their trespasses against them”- 2 Cor 16-19, Romans 5:10-11. Reconciliation means peace between God and man through the blood of Jesus -Colossians 1:19-23. Hallelujah! Believing in Jesus leads us to the gift of eternal life, while punishment awaits those who reject the sacrifice of Jesus Christ -John 3:16, 18, 36.
The good news is that we don’t only have a full pardon; we are also made righteous before God. This is a gift and not a reward for the good acts one undertakes, including the long hours you pray or fast. And that is why our righteousness is by faith only in Christ Jesus, according to Galatians 3:24, 2 Corinthians 5:21, and Titus 3:4-7. When you understand that your righteousness is by faith in Christ Jesus, boasting is eliminated.- Romans 3:27.
Don’t trust in yourself for righteousness because your conscience will condemn you when you fall short. Any work should result from your faith in God, not a condition for righteousness. The Bible says righteousness outside of Christ Jesus is like dirty rags- Isaiah 64:6.
We were, by nature, children of wrath as captured in Ephesians 2:1-3. But our belief in Christ Jesus has transformed us into children of God – Galatians 3:26. Hallelujah! I like how this is written in John 1:12-“He gave us the right to become children of God.” Only those who have believed in the Son have this right. You are a child of God; let no one deprive you of this privilege. The Bible says we are “partakers of the divine nature”-2 Peter 1:4; we have “passed from death into life” (John 5:24).
As believers in Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit living in us is our seal, and He bears witness to our identity -Romans 8:16. The Bible says we are now members of the household of God- Ephesians 2:19, with a right to the inheritance of all the promises of God. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, black or white. We are all presented with the same opportunity to know God -Galatians 3:26-29. As a child of God, you have full access to your heavenly Father anytime, any day. You don’t need an appointment to speak to God. And you have the confidence to approach God through Christ Jesus -Ephesians 3:12.
I want you to always see Jesus at the center of your salvation. You are complete in Him, according to Colossians 2:10. It is not what Jesus has done plus your performances; otherwise, it ceases to be grace, as captured in Romans 11:6. Our perfection is in Christ Jesus, and our failures do not sever or jeopardize our relationship with Him. Remember, your greatest doing is to “believe”—believe in Jesus, who did it all for you at the cross! John 6:29, John 6:47.

Every child at the Volta Home Orphanage in the Volta Region of Ghana owns a Bible with their names boldly printed on it. Thanks to Patrick Quainoo Global Ministries, a non-profit Christian organization, which gave 50 Bibles as Christmas gifts to the children. Patrick Quainoo Global Ministries focuses on inspiring people and impacting nations. The ministry, therefore, caters to the physical and spiritual needs of people, especially the poor and needy, through various programs. Christmas is a season for giving, and for Patrick Quainoo Global Ministries, it is a perfect time to present Bibles to each child at the Volta Home Orphanage.
Pakistan, India, and Sierra Leone are among the countries that have benefited from the “One Million Bible” distribution. Dr. Patrick E. Quainoo, founder of Patrick Quainoo Global Ministries, explained that he targeted the orphanage as part of “Vision 2020” to help build the spiritual foundation of the children with the gospel.
The Volta Home Orphanage at Vedeme is home to orphaned and needy children. Most of the children do not have Bibles. Madam Comfort Annabi, the mother at the orphanage, was grateful, describing the gesture as the best Christmas gift.
In addition to the Bibles, the children were treated to delicious meals and drinks. The orphanage Christmas treat was sponsored by Joy in Giving Foundation.

The General Overseer of the International Christian Faith Ministries—Ghana, Rev. Dr. Patrick E. Quainoo, has charged Ghanaians to pray for the country’s leaders. Speaking in an exclusive interview in his office at Accra, Rev Quainoo said: “I believe Ghanaians are not obeying God’s word to pray for our leaders, and that’s why we’re seeing all these occurrences in Governments, Political circles, and even Churches.
“ I sincerely believe that if you are a Christian in opposition and you don’t pray for the government in power all because you are obeying party rules, then you are a hypocrite.”
He added: “If you belong to The New Patriotic Party (NPP) and do not pray for President Mahama, you are not listening to God but your party and that doesn’t portray godliness”.
He quickly added that he doesn’t belong to any political party but only speaks as a man of God.
Ghana is rated top Religious Country in the World – ( By Gallop International)
Rev. Dr. Quainoo said that research by Gallop International shows that Ghana remains the number one Religious country in the world, and to him, that is a major problem for the nation of Ghana. Religious people have a form of godliness, but Spiritual people are God-fearing and therefore obey God.
“Staying in church houses and speaking tongues of fire alone won’t put food on the table. I am urging Ghanaians to reduce idle churchgoing and work. We leave our offices, spend all our time praying, and again expect magic. Forget it! God doesn’t work like that.”
Caution to youth
Rev. Dr. Quainoo cautioned the youth to be circumspect in all their dealings and to avoid the “get rich quick attitude.” He also charged men of God to stop preaching prosperity messages and preach the Word, for it is the only message that will move the country forward.
He concluded that no government can ever make the nation any better place to live without God.
