Every child at the Volta Home Orphanage in the Volta Region of Ghana owns a Bible with their names boldly printed on it. Thanks to Patrick Quainoo Global Ministries, a non-profit Christian organization, which gave 50 Bibles as Christmas gifts to the children. The gesture is part of the ministry’s “Vision 2020” agenda of distributing “One Million Bibles” worldwide, to those who need them.
Patrick Quainoo Global Ministries focuses on inspiring people and impacting nations. The ministry, therefore, caters to the physical and spiritual needs of people, especially the poor and needy, through various programs. Christmas is a season for giving, and for Patrick Quainoo Global Ministries, it is a perfect time to present Bibles to each child at the Volta Home Orphanage.
Pakistan, India, and Sierra Leone are among the countries that have benefited from the “One Million Bible” distribution. Dr. Patrick E. Quainoo, founder of Patrick Quainoo Global Ministries, explained that he targeted the orphanage as part of “Vision 2020” to help build the spiritual foundation of the children with the gospel.
The Volta Home Orphanage at Vedeme is home to orphaned and needy children. Most of the children do not have Bibles. Madam Comfort Annabi, the mother at the orphanage, was grateful, describing the gesture as the best Christmas gift.
In addition to the Bibles, the children were treated to delicious meals and drinks. The orphanage Christmas treat was sponsored by Joy in Giving Foundation.
